I am so sorry.
That is so frustrating.
But pay them back and make them in to a column. They deserve it. Make them sound like the 10 stooges- or however many of them you spoke to.

I went "shopping" at the instructional media center for summer school today. I had so much fun. They had a GIVEAWAY rack- with all sorts of stuff for free. I got books on tape of Silas Marner, Harriet Tubman, Huckleberry Fin, Romeo and Juliet, and a bunch of other things. I am just thrilled. Plus they had new phonics books for my kids. And they had these phonic cards with which we "body code" the alphabet. I would try to explain it to you, but it would sound silly- and it really isn't. It is one of the neatest tricks I've learned this year- a trick which helps struggling readers. I just love those.

Also I placed my "stores" order (in house school ordering system). They give me 100 dollars for teaching the whole summer- and I get a catalog to order from. It is so FUN!!! I ordered all sorts of neat stuff. Last year they gave us the order form with a sample page from the catalog- which I thought was the whole thing. And when the orders came I was puzzled why teh other teachers had all this neat stuff and I had paper and crayons and pencils and tape. WELL this year I'm really on top of things, maybe. I know 100 dollars doesn't seem like much- but things are cheap- clipboards (for example) are 61 cents. I know this because I ordered 20 of them. Nothing makes a kid want to write like giving them a clipboard and letting them write underneath a desk. Go figure.
