STOCK ALERT - TSMC/ASE Inc lower on futures-related selling -- AFX - Asia, 5/30/2002 e-insite.net Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd was down 1.00 twd at 84.50 on volume of 3.40 mln shares and Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc down 0.50 at 28.60 on 1.99 mln shares on extended futures-related selling, dealers said. Foreign investor sell-offs in the two stocks yesterday and declines in their US peers overnight put new pressure on the chip shares.
