Well, I have repeatedly asked if anyone else felt that way--about possible counterparty risk on puts. I generally get reassuring responses about the amount of margin required by the options exchanges, etc.

Are there any historical precedents for a refusal to honor an option contract?

BTW, I ought to know, but don't what "TU" stands for. I assume it means broke and/or disappeared.
