Just making an observation as you did in your original post Chris.

I'm sorry you don't understand my point. I always try to be clear and concise.

I find it amazing that our country has survived numerous, and various threats throughout it's 232 year history, yet still manages to survive in spite of those who would wish it otherwise. Regardless of all the nasty little shenanigans politicians or subversive groups, or conspiracy theorists can muster, there are a lot of Americans willing to die to defend the good words of the Bill of Rights you linked. We just aren't given enough respect in that regard imo.

I have personally had ancestors on both sides that fought in major wars going back to the Revolutionary War through WWll. The stories are still told, and are kept alive that way.

I'm not afraid of my country and I'm not afraid of dying to preserve our liberties. I do believe in being alert and watchful for threats to our safety like Arab looking men and women with bulky coats. (ohhhhh how un pc of me!)

As to your question Chris. Who will determine it illegal for the US to try the terrorists at Gitmo by Military Tribunal? Surely you don't suggest that a world body be given the power to decide who, or how the United States of America try the people they suspect are involved in the horrific murder of it's citizens?

I would sincerely like to hear your opinion about which rights we have given up or are about to give up due to our war against terror.

BTW the murder scene is finally cleaned up.
