How does that compare with Spatialight(HDTV)?

I misunderstood your question

Spatialight (HDTV) is liquid crystal on silicon and has an external light source which is transmitted through or reflected from the liquid crystal display and is projected through a lens onto a big screen. It's a projector.

iFire (WED) tech is inorganic, light emissive, phosphors on a flat panel as on the front of a CRT screen. It's an emitter.

Projection TVs are bulky. Flat panels are not.

Both organic and inorganic light emitters tend to be faster and more suitable for video than liquid crystal.

WED's technology will give a picture at least equivalent in colour saturation and brightness to that of current CRT TVs. I don't think projection TVs can do that.

Both are development companies. WED has about 120 million C$ in cash plus income from its established businesses. HDTV has about 2 million US$. Neither is generating income yet from sale of the technology.

WED's burn rate for both its medical and display technologies is about $35 -45 mil per annum. I don't know what HDTV's is.

I don't want to invest in display tech which requires exterior light supply as does projection TV. It must be emissive.
I want to invest in display tech which will result in a compact product with a picture at least as good as CRT, if not better.
