Short sellers guilty of TREASON:

MILITARY TRIBUNALS FOR SHORT SELLERS???

Is the practice of manipulating the stock market with false or thinly substantiated
rumors TREASON, and a threat to our Democratic way of life? Such methods have
allegedly been used by Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden to make millions, particularly
after the 9/11 tragedy.
Now Ariane Mahler of GERMANY's Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein is apparently
spreading rumors regarding Cisco, which might be construed as economic terrorism,
the goal of which is to weaken the United States by the weakening of one of
America's great technology companies. If Mahler's assertions are proven to be
unfounded, can a case be made that a foreign
citizen has attempted to cause harm to America's economy? Can it then be asserted
that this action is a crime which can be prosecuted under President Bush's military
tribunal system?
The time has come to take these possibilities very seriously. Are Mahler's assertions
merely routine stock market background noise; or are they the voice of a sinister
(perhaps unwitting) Al Qaeda fifth column? The FBI and the Attorney General must
investigate the truth of Mahler's charges, and if proven false, take appropriate action.

After all, Cisco has an absolute lock on the TCP/IP networking market, has $22
billion in cash, and is the only US networking company selling internationally
(interestingly enough Cisco's success has forced the GERMAN company Siemens to
sell Unisphere, which had been a potential Cisco competitor). So just what is the
motivation behind Mahler's charges?
