I believe the shorts are making too much of a stink for nothing about NT's filing for possible sale of $2.5B in securities or whatever. With $3B in cash right now, if NT gets to break even by the end of this year, they won't need to make use of that filing.

Two years ago I thought Sagawa was too pessimistic on the telecomms but, whether by pure luck or not, he has been proved right. His thinking that NT, and Lucent, will do well in the future will most likely be just as correct.
