True the article was confusing. The fact that the Russian Central Bank is rapidly seeing an increase in the value of it's gold holdings is in and of itself significant. The point I was trying to make it that the selling of Central Bank gold is over and the accumulation for postive appreciation is not impossible for even Central Banks to consider. I believe the Russian Central Bank buys in gold production from their domestic mines in exchange for currency, so the increase in the gold value held is not tivial.
