No one at the reception was directly familiar with the mine although they had heard of it. My understanding from people in the know who I spoke to about heap leaching tonight said that there are numerous factors which affect each individual operation, and that some issues might be: size of material in the pile, CN concentrations and the method of application, and perhaps the presence of other minerals or materials which might be counter-productive to the action of CN on gold. So sorry, no direct help here.

As a matter of opinion without knowing anything specific about the operation, some thought that 65% after 49 days was not so bad, and wondered what the recover was like after 100 days etc.
