a splendid job under difficult circumstances
A fine job for a figurehead. The country could get by with an aw-shucks good-natured guy if he hadn't screwed up the economy, and domestic and foriegn policy at the same time. We don't need him to try and fix it now, we need him to slink back to Crawford and try his plain-mispeaking act at the Grand Ol' Opery instead of the world stage.
