If Qualcomm could have somehow produced a GSM set of SNAPTrak stuff, I suspect it would be a seller.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong....but I thought that Snaptrack had some deals in place with GSM manufacturers before Qualcomm bought them. They seemed to disappear after the acquisition. I'm also a little hazy on weather the current GPS system that Qualcomm using is entirely based on Snaptrack's design or some sort of hybrid between Snaptrack and the system that Qualcomm was originally developing.

FWIW....Schrock mentioned a Vodafone trial of GPS during the analyst meeting. No details on if this was for W-CDMA, GSM or both.
