To All, The following is a comparison of closing prices between 6/6/97 and 7/11/97, a five week period. There has been quite a bit of discussion lately about the possible merger of several companies in this group. These companies tend to be in the top of the list. Ontrak and Lam Research have announced their intentions I believe, and Silicon Valley Group and Applied Materials have been rumored. I am sure their are others that I do not know about. Does anyone know why Gasonics has done so well - a merger perhaps? The unweighted percentage change of the group is 17 percent. FSI has done relatively well at 20 percent.
