Hi JT, Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the time and trouble you are going to in order to put your thoughts across. The cynicism, despair or what have you comes from trying to use obviously out-dated techniques to forecast this market. Based on the put/call ratio... and especially the 10 day moving average, we should have one heck of a sell-off going on. NADA. And that indicator is one of the more reliable ones... But this is a market of dichotomy. VIX is in the 20's. OEX put pricing is astronomical. And the market is so overbought it is calling out "hit me, hit me." What I am looking for is not Macro, is not Micro... but some handle on forecasting the markets... I work like a dog to try to make sense of indicators which have worked perfectly well up until now... and for no good reason (other than maybe half the investing population is doing the same thing I am), they all see to have stopped working. So just about ANYTHING that does NOT lead me closer to understanding what is going on will be a disappointment to me... not your fault. Regards, Bill
