OK, just got off the phone with the guy who is responsible for this site... thearchitecturestore.co.uk (he's my bro in law) and has spent a lot of time in Egypt and the Sudan both before and after the WTC tragedy. He spends a lot of time wandering around on donkeys looking at old stuff. He confirms that the "news story" is baloney as far as he knows. He would know too. Should have asked him in the first place I guess.
