7:51AM Viisage Tech system replaced by Visionics system at VSNX***Fresno airport (VISG) 5.43: The LA Times reports that Fresno Yosemite Int'l Airport (the first U.S. airport to try VISG's face-recognition technology) stopped using VISG's system because of concerns about its accuracy; the airport deployed the VISG system in Oct but stopped using it by Jan, and the system was removed by Feb. 1 and replaced by one from rival VSNX, which reportedly gets better results.
