Thanks Clappy!

I think it has some advantages.....over Gemstar. Holds 100 books instead of 10. Microbooks has always insisted and worked on a lot of memory.

I would think you could pass a book along to a friend, Sharing the same as you would any other book or CD. It will not be necessary to purchase and be downloaded from a computer, although they will eventually have this option.

I see Gemstar's product is $299 - $599.....I would think Microbooks will be less than $50.

I thought it would be good for school kids, not only in US but maybe 3rd world countries (or countries such as Afghan.) as no connection is necessary which takes care of the following Gemstar problems:

REB 1200 Troubleshooting

1. The screen on my REB 1200 locked up. What can I do?

2. The icons and menus on my screen don't seem to be as sensitive as they once were. What can I do?

3. When I try to register my REB 1200 or connect to the Online Bookshelf, I get a connection failed or unsuccessful message. Why do I get this message?

4. I connected the eBook Network and a feature update alert appeared on the screen of my REB 1200. Do I need to let it update at this time?

5. My area code recently changed and there does not seem to be a local number for me to use in accessing my Online Bookshelf account. What should I do?

6. I have forgotten my password for my REB 1200 and I need to update my account information. What should I do?

7. I have forgotten the passcode to my credit card information stored on my REB 1200. What should I do?

Thanks Clappy.....when I had a buck or two, I purchased 20,000 (hopeful) shares. I knew I was taking a chance, at the time it was just money, right now it is some pretty big bucks. :-)

Didn't tell ya because I did not want to influence what you would say.

Thanks again,

dealie
