I do not believe India and Pakistan have much to do with the weakness in the market. Anyone with half a memory will recall they do this about once a year at about the same time. This time it is a bit more intense because of a weak president in Pakistan and the presence of US troops.

If Greenspan farts the markets react more than they do to war of words and theats between India an Pakistan.
