does AVG charge for business use?

They charge for technical support. They charge for network or server versions. The user agreement for the free version allows use on multiple computers, but only one at a time.

grisoft.com

My two cents: It's a good product, with a viable commercial product for sale. It's widely used in the internet community. If it had the pathetic performance reported by PC Magazine, we would have heard plenty of horror stories by now. Instead I hear mostly good things, especially in regard to detecting viruses. Besides, how are they going to sell their commercial versions if the free version becomes known as ineffective? (Rhetorical question)
