You know... I hate to be negative on so many companies but I think you have to stick with the supply chain vendors and the "web storefront" companies as the eventual owners of the business cmrc and arba once had. So thats i2, manu and then maybe vign on the storefront side. 3rd party marketplaces, which was cmrc/arba's business once are being taken by the ERPs expanding their footprint out on the web. But the ERPs aren't taking the online storefronts that require PSP payment (b2b's don't do this) so that leaves a place for for the storefronts. If you want to really bottom fish (which is why you are looking at cmrc I suspect) then I would look at bvsn, artg, vign.

My guess is on cmrc is there is some buyout speculation, but buyouts aren't getting the premiums anymore.

I know a guy who had a senior position at SAP markets (different from SAP core) and his business directly competed with Cmrc. Hasso from Sap let these 2 battle it out in the boom because there was so much business and at the time it looked like Sap would acquire cmrc anyway. But in 2001 Hasso decided there wasn't even enough business for Sap markets to exist standalone! Thats how much this has collapsed.

If anybody wants a real beaten stock with potential I think the best bet is prgn here. 1% of his highs. LOL!
