Yeah, but those are STATE LAWS, not federal! Gao was claiming some sort of nebulous Federal authority to overrule the States in this area... and I simply pointed out that the Constitution doesn't give authority to the Federal Government here... and powers not specifically granted to the Feds are reserved for the States under our Constitution. ... As the Courts have repeatedly upheld.
