"Debunk"? Ha! You couldn't "debunk" a camp cot!

Re: "Suicide is not a Constitutional right."

>>> Never said it was. Only said it fell within the States area of authority under our Constitution, not the Federal. i.e.: Rights not specifically granted to the Federal Government are reserved for the States.

Re: "Legalizing suicide is just plain antithetical to a rule of law."

>>> Never said it was, or wasn't.

Re: "What law gives the Federal Government authority over this" I challenged you to "Name it."

I take your response of: "I don't know. Does it matter?" as your admission that you were wrong when you claimed there was a Federal law.

>>> Thanks for being 'big' enough to admit you were in error.

From here, you changed the question to: "Do states have the right to legalize slavery and murder?"

Since you answered the first question, I will answer your follow-up question:

1) Re: "slavery". I say *No* states do not have that right anymore since the Constitution was amended... but for 1/2 of our existence as a nation, the Supreme Court maintained that they did.

2) Re: "murder". Can a person "murder" themselves? Most people call that "suicide", and reserve the word "murder" for when someone takes another's life. ...that is the jist of what the emerging debate is all about: are we, as individuals, sovereign in our own bodies with regard to what happens to those bodies. If we are not, than the Government can mandate many, many things.
