Paul, why should it take until mid 99 for pizza to be delivered?? I will starve by then. Are their technical problems w. the equpiments? When will intel take delivery of this equipment? I suppose intel won't take delivery untill early 99? I don't understand much so here is a stupid question. If you buy this 12" equipment, is predetermined to be used for .18u. Can you process .25u and later use the same machine for .18? Will Intel be ahead of AMD, with the use of the new equipments? Also IBM is already going gangbuster w. .25u/ 5layers of metal. I have far more intels then i should have, but i have also bot AMAT that is another reason why I want this whole thing to get going. Japan is agressively going after this new process. I have read too much about this stuff which I only half understand. ============================================================ If it takes too long to answer above, can you answer this? Why did AMD not drop down to 22? This really worried me. No doubt intel is the leader but a looser only has to do a little better to gain twice the market share. What do investors see in AMD? Future can be bright but how can investors trust the management that did not warn? The future for AMD is VERY BRIGHT now? Does lower earning meaning brigher future? (i guess). So bright it can blind u.
