If you take book value into account for both Nortel and Lucent, Lucent is trading at a 50% discount to Nortel (ex Agere). And Nortel continues to post sequential decline in sales. IMO, Lucent will continue to outperform Nortel. BTW, on just P/S Nortel is trading at 0.65x sales and Lucent at 0.85x sales. However Nortel's sales continue to decline. So as you can see Lucent is quite the bargain down here.
