That's the most hostile statement I can ever recall you making.

I have you soooooo fooled.
It is just that I keep a strong muzzle on my fingers while typing and use the Delete button frequently.

And we live in Yuppieville, Tx. in a city that the children themselves refer to as The Bubble.
A tradition at graduation is for the seniors to sneak in bubblestuff under their gowns and then when they are pronounced graduates, pull it out and fill the air with symbolic bubbles.
I am not opposed to some of the aspects of raising children in a Bubble. I was raised in one myself, though mine was the product of smalltown, Southern conservatism, and not money.

You have me thinking now.......we really HAVE attempted to buy and build something that no longer exists in America in large urban areas, trying to give our kids that old-fashioned ambience.

Like Homecoming...
in the 60s, we marched down the Main Street for a Pep Rally. Here since we had no Main Street, and the kids couldn't march down Highway 1709, we built a downtown for them-- Towne Square. Now at Homecoming the band and cheerleaders lead the students around the square...
OHmigod-- I just looked it up, and here's a picture of Homecoming at our Towne Square!
