ild, I don't have any records. But if gold were selling for $300 and ASA had a 10% discount, then the price of gold would have to be $330 to make the SA golds fairly valued. It is an old bromide and a lot like horseshoes and hand grenades (close is good enough), but it has been a rule of thumb for awhile. When ASA trades at a premium, it usually means the underlying miners are at a discount to the metal.
