Grace, IMO, the speculator folks that are holding these gold short positions for the last 10 or so years do not have any experience with losing positions except for a couple of short periods. They will probably stay complacent. The miners are slowly unwinding their positions, a.k.a. AU, NEM, etc. and this should take a few years and there should be upward pressure on the price of gold for a while. Joan
