The aberrational Clinton era led to all the disasters and corruption you just listed and more. (The Catholic Church scandal, BTW, is a product of the tolerance of homosexuality. They should have fought it. When they didn't, who else could?) A significant and influential segment of this nation's leadership completely abandon all pretence of moral standards to justify keeping the pervert, rapist, traitor, coward, perjurer in power for no other reason than that they didn't want to admit that they were wrong, wrong, wrong. A public dumbed down by the OJ trial, Springer and Carville followed them like sheep. Bush is now cleaning it all up. Some of the damage will take a generation to fade.
