Wanna, you never fail to amaze me.
Re: TGPTNDR, Re: "Who do you consider to be the top 4?

Do you think it's now 3 out of 4 down from 4 out of 4 last month?"

IBM, HPQ, Dell, and Sun.

Re: "Do you think it's now 3 out of 4 down from 4 out of 4 last month?"

No. Sun has never committed to using Itanium.

LOL. You edited out the second line, "Do you think it's now 3 out of 4 down from 4 out of 4 last month?" when you returned the post.

The question was, Who do you think were the top four last month, who do you think are the top 4 this month, and do you think Intel lost one?

Now think -- What do you think?

LOL

Re: <So? Since when were we talking about the desktop market?>

Since forever. I'm interested in mass market. Could give no interest for a 200K/year processor. Do you think the Itanic will do more?

Let IBM and Intel worry about that market. It's on the wrong side of the curve.

PS, I find the Morning shift Wanna_b more interesting than the afternoon one. How do others feel on the subject?
