Re Insider Sales..no problem? Hence the bear mkt goes on imo

Somehow everything is seen and primed as a positive.

Inflation? No problem. (nevermind the sources and breakup of the inflation)

Deflation? No problem too.

Stagflation? What is that?

Unemployment? Oh it is always darkest before it turns bright.

The Dollar? No comment. (See Gold)

Gold? (BOTH Gold and the Dollar can actually move up. Just like in the world of equities where one company stealing market share from the others can actually prop up for a day/few days its losing competitors (in a shrinking pie) with news sprinkled with 'home runs' and 'linearity' phrases)

Insider selling? Insiders are dumb. So is the popular notion.

Wars? Oh just some friction here and there.

Disillusionment with equities? (actually has not happened in actions..only mostly in words and individual equity positions, not mutual funds)

Wall Street distrust? No the bulls only follow their own instincts and not the talking heads. (this I will even concede to some bears as following some dire 100 year slump BS predictions)

Money on sidelines? No problem.

Nah!

The tremendous short interest will bail us out. The shorts are wrong always. (nevermind that shorting was done for several reasons and that not all shorts get it wrong. And that the 'big boyz' (mysterious creatures whoever they are) only go long or mostly go long (seeming inflexibility ascribed to the 'big boyz' from traders who should be demonstrating flexibility as their strongest trait).

Proof to the contrary? None from me.
