Pretender, I've got some good news for you for a change.

Instead of playing that stupid game of AMDroid vs Intellebee, how about we concentrate on something positive for the industry in general. Looks like the PC market has finally stabilized.

Worldwide PC Shipments Didn't Decline but Remain Weak
31 May 2002
Mikako Kitagawa Charles Smulders

The worldwide PC market showed no overall growth in the first quarter of 2002, in contrast with declines in the previous four quarters. The most encouraging news: strong mobile-PC growth in almost every region.

And the other good news is that AMD in particular gained market share due to the strong mobile market.

The microprocessor manufacturer AMD gained mobile PC market share. This growth stemmed from the introduction of Athlon and Duron mobile processors in 2001 and the strong overall growth in mobile PC sales to consumers.
