Maybe reading "now and again" gives the wrong impression... I honestly don't think there is any deep or lasting hostility on this thread, appearances notwithstanding. I believe nearly all here recognize the difference between having passion over an issue, versus developing real animus toward those on the other side. It is not the least unusual to have a flame war with someone one week, and be exchanging chummy PMs with them the next week. Often the posturing and bombastics you see here are more of a performance to show off one's verbal combat skills. Beyond that, it can be a healthy release of aggressive instincts that might otherwise be vented in the real world, where they could really do harm to people. At least, that's the way I see it. Of course, It's always possible that I am being stalked and harassed by deadly enemies here, while being too dumb to realize it <ggg>.
