That isn't a a triangle. For a triangle using closing prices there should be at least two tops and two bottoms to draw the lines. So far that hasn't happened. Additionally, a decending triangle after a run up, in this case from the May 7th close, is bullish and tends to be a consolidating pattern. If anything, qcom's formed a bullish pennant (using the intrady swings), although I don't have much confidence in it.

The bad thing about TA is that you tend to see what you want to see. In your case, you want to see qcom crash. Its best to be neutral.
