Why is it that some of the more bear oriented Wall Street economists (Kasriel@Northern Trust, Dudley@Goldman and Roach@Morgan Stanley) are specifically starting to sound more like Doug Noland viz-a-viz the "financial fragility" stuff? They've been bearish forever (although Kasriel has been a wavering Teddy rather than an 800 lb grizzly of late), but never in the sense of "a big accident is around the corner, get out, get out!"

Dunno, but maybe they have a look inside their firms own accounts that we don't, and that scares the $hit outta me....
