Lead sentence: 'The British midlands are engulfed by race riots'. You might expect that they would be talking about the British Midlands race riots. You might expect that they might even describe the race riots. But they don't. I was here in Jul 2001. I recall the stories on the scum Dutch driver that smuggled Chinese into the country and the subsequent deaths that resulted. The Midlands is about a two hour drive from here. For some reason the British Midlands being engulfed in race riots didn't make the news. jttmab
