It seems strange to me that, although there is no shortage of people to complain about the deleterious effects of institutionalized greed, so little effort is put into understanding how our laws foster and reward it. Sadly, even the suggestion that such is the case is considered radical and, horror of all horrors, unAmerican.

We've had our "Age Of Reason" and our "Industrial Revolution". When the history of our era is written, it will be called "The Age Of Greed".
