And they've gotten clever.

Another clever thing they do is to throw in some perfectly reasonable stuff along with the far-out stuff, even emphasize it. For example, it's not unreasonable to observe that we can send hundreds of troops to some far off place to defend their borders but we can't/won't do what it takes to defend ours. It's comforting for people to believe that their extremist views have a sensible base. Of course, most extremist views do have a sensible base, it's where they go from that base that's the problem.

I thought the solution about dividing the US up into multiple countries for different ethnicities was interesting. The implementation of that would make the Middle East look like a picnic. That choice got a lot of votes. I wonder if anyone who voted for it has a clue about how it might be implemented. It would sure stretch "eminent domain" all out of shape. And I wonder who would get NYC or New Orleans or Hollywood. <g> I'd like to see an expansion of that idea to see where they take it.
