You guys left out ruthlessness. I know a lot of people who couldn't work harder and are very lucky, but they don't control billion dollar empires.

Gates has the kind of personality that can suppress the kind of guilt that normal people have and can rationalize every rotten deal, swindle and downright nasty business decision he's made. The guy makes William Randolf Hurst look appealing.
