Seems as though your post conveniently omitted Brinker's last NBR recommendation in January 1997 to buy Uniphase at 45. The stock is now 65 for a 45% gain in six months...which is a 90% annual rate of return. The other two stocks are essentially even, so equal purchases of the three stocks are up at an annual rate of 30% which even exceeds the S & P 500 this year. You seem to have a math problem. I think 30% is quite excellent as do most other investors. You also seem to have forgotten Brinker said on Moneytalk he will honor a 72 hour media blackout when the sell signal occurs therefore CNN and CNBC will be blacked out unless some foolish subscriber spills the beans in an act of total idiocy.
