That's the big problem -- it would otherwise only be an issue of policy differences.

It's unbelievable they can't divest themselves of the appearance, if not the actuality, of massive conflict of interest.

All of the secrecy makes it appear as if there is much more to hide than just the Carlyle connections.

Not good.
