Jim, so far Wall Street hasnt been impressed with all of this Hammer hype. So far, the only ones who have bought into the hype are the AMD-ites, the likes of Milo, Dan3, etc. I think AMD's propsects are very bleak, simply because Intel is too big & efficient to lose any control of the PC market. Anyone with any brains can figure out the only time AMD's stock has done well is when the PC market is strong AND Intel cannot supply enough product. This wont happen again. IMO, AMD should have directed their resources to processers for the wireless, consumer electronics market because we are finally about to witness the convergence of the PC/electronic appliance/phone/TV. Or, they should have put more resources to flash. Instead, Jerry wants to take on Intel, a very dominant supplier, in a mature market, PCs. Dumb move.
