NO NO NO NO....
I never said Intel didn't cut prices. what I said was that the Intel announcement was only like an apology or "half good" at best.

Intel said in effect that because their costs went down they could lower prices. That's "OK". What would have been a better scenario to Wall Street (but it didn't happen that way) is that if the 300mm fabs lowered cost and Intels profit margins went up and they actually got to raise prices. But the fact that they did lower prices kind of tempered the announcement. Sure, it's good news but not the best thing that could have happened. But that is just a dream right now anyway.
