Sam,

A SVGI takeover by AMAT would be far more significant than the FUSN deal and cash is not a factor. An AMAT takeover would mean that AMAT has sufficient confidence in SVGI's lithography division to believe that it can achieve a #1 position in lithography based on the SVGI technology. This would imply a successful ramp up to 200 units followed by a second ramp up to 500 units. 500 units is 2.5 to 3.5B in revenue. I noticed that AMAT stated 10 to 15B in revenue "early next century" in its last conference call. It was the first time I heard the 15B number and I wondered why they raised it from their oft stated 10B number. I hope that much of the additional 5B reflects the SVGI contribution.
