AOL's short selling statistics... America Online, Inc. AOL 16.84% of stock out short 16,475,024 Thats the last I got; 11th on the NYSE of most shorted stocks. That bigcharts web page seems to rank the short selling by number of shares. If you reorder the list by Dollar Value, AOL is somewhere around #2, depending on AOL's price from day to day.
