OT: Thanks for reminding us of the classics, Tom. However, restricting one's idea of greed to that demonstrated in the market is much too narrow. The market epitomizes the operation of greed, or, more properly, enlightened self-interest. It is a boon to us all. The true horrors of corporate greed flow, not from the market but from the impositions inflicted on us by corporations without sanction by our government ... indeed, often with overt governmental approval and support in the form of legislation.
