I had a limed oak bedroom set when I was a teenager.

I like mission style. I considered getting a sofa and loveseat when I bought my last sofa and loveseat. There's a wonderful furniture manufacturer just a couple of blocks from me that has a mission line.

Their stuff is lovingly made. I was interested in that style primarily because it was cat-proof, or nearly so. I ended up buying a cheap upholstered pair just to last me until I moved since I didn't know where I was going or what furniture I might need and the furniture was pricey. The upholstered loveseat I carried out to the curb a few weeks ago. The sofa is still in the living room with its arms in shreds. I figure that prospective home buyers might want someplace to sit and contemplate buying my lovely home. I can toss an afghan over the cat damage.
