"The fact of the agreement means trust and cooperation will be fuller and deeper. "
You're saying in spite of a loser agreement, the PR value, not the substance. Maybe.
There are better ways to improve PR value, however. Such as the oil industry, technology business activities, which I personally have with some Russian nationals, and know the value of.
Don't kid yourself, tho', heads of state agreements are basically circle-jerks that don't benefit the real business people and workers, only the top echelon deals that have no concern for your interests or mine, and any benefits are completely accidental, and probably unlikely.
My only interest in any Russian deal at a government level is to reduce nuclear threat.
The rest I can take care of myself, and other businesspeople and workers. Just let government get the f* out of the way, they can only screw it up. The only thing government can do is get out of the nuclear warhead business.
Everything else is wishful thinking. |
