We got a whole new kitchen today.

Appliances, that is. Fridge, range, dishwasher, and stand-alone freezer for the garage.

It only took half-an-hour at our local store, with knowledgeable help, no pushing to pay for unwanted bells and whistles, 15% off list prices, free delivery tomorrow afternoon. All the old one hauled away free. No angst or hassles. We refuse any longer to do extensive research, shop for bargains, drive all over, and end up confused.

Our house is 15 years old, and all the appliances had a chip in them calling for self-destruction during the last week of May, 2002. It performed flawlessly, and they all rolled over died within a few days of each other. Technology is so great when it works right. This way we could everything new at the same time.

Thank you for performing an Oklahoma reprise for me. Rodgers and Hammerstein could really write melody and lyrics..
