Elmer, the only reason why the MB guys should get underclocked Hammers is if the MBs are very immature. If that's the case, it would not make much sense to turn up the speed on the processors until the MBs are at an acceptable level of functionality.

Of course, the 'Droids think that's a good thing. Four (or six) more months until the launch of Clawhammer, and the OEMs are only getting 800 MHz samples. AMD will have to vapor-launch Hammer, as usual.
