I certainly agree that religion has motivated or been used to justify a lot of atrocities.

I'm anti-group. [Not that I expect that to affect anyone other than me]. But every time you get a group, religion or otherwise, it seems inevitable that my group is better than your group...it has to be, or I'd join your group. When you add God in your group, now you're really the right group.

Was it about a year ago that the Pope said that RC is the only religion that has no defects. Next after that the Greek Orthodox was close, other Christian demoninations a distant third, and then those other religions which didn't even deserve to be named. Sorry Pope John, I don't buy it, and I was indoctrinated for a good 15 years.
