Sue bought some repellent called Jungle Juice at a health food store. Repels skeeters, ticks and flies. No deet so it's easy on the skin. Clove, citronella, peppermint and lemon oils plus menthol. She said the skeeters would hover but not land. NutriBiotic, box 238, Lakeport, Ca 95453.
